Pregnancy Symptoms

The following symptoms are most common in early pregnancy:

  • Delayed period;
  • Fullness and tenderness of the breast, darkening of the nipple, tingling in the nipple;
  • Bloating, flatulence and occasional tenderness in the lower abdomen;
  • Nausea and occasional vomiting;
  • Fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness;
  • Frequent urination;
  • Increased vaginal secretions.

These symptoms occur due to the effect of pregnancy hormones released in your body from the time of pregnancy and the increased amount of estrogen and progesterone. These physiological hormonal changes occur to help your body adjust to pregnancy and promote your baby’s development. These symptoms are a sign of possible pregnancy.
